3rd Friday Press Release - 8/16/2019

Salisbury, MD: August 16, 2019 is the next 3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury. 3rd Friday will be held outdoors -weather permitting -with artists and crafters filling the streets and live music on the Plaza. In August the theme is Water World, and its all about staying cool. From water balloons, and water slides to water-themed art shows, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

3rd Friday will continue to use a slightly different format, as construction progresses into the intersection of Main Street and Division Street this month. Artists and crafters will still gather on the Plaza – but the rest of the fun is moving down to Lot 15 and W. Market Street, in front of The Acorn Market and Angello’s Unique Gifts. There you will find special activities like a free Water Slide Zone hosted by Beach Bounce, a water mister, a water balloon target zone, and snow cones provided by Son Rise Church.

On the Plaza, artists, crafters and non-profit organizations will fill the street with their wares. There will be live music on the main stage by The Haymans and the Salisbury Jaycees will be on the Plaza pouring beer and wine.
